Public Safety 2020 - 2024

  • Budgeted and implemented over $3M in capital spending for both Police and Fire Departments

  • Developed reserve EMT service

  • Improved communications systems, camera systems, and uniform weapons control systems

  • Increased fire department call compensation and professional wages

  • Added police staffing & compensation and successfully negotiated a new three-year contract for patrol officers
